Planet Claire

When I first redid my website a couple of years ago, I proudly proclaimed that I would aim to have a weekly update of the blog full of astrological and other happenings. Well, that has not quite been the case! Not that there hasn't been a lot going on - quite the reverse, too much going on sometimes to be able to process it, reflect and record it.

Bring Him Home

Astrologically, the summer of 2012 has been a bit of a tense one.

Since June 24th, 2012, the planet Uranus (disruption, breakthroughs)

has started to jockey in the sky with Pluto (transformation, power, control).

We are building up to the next contact which will occur on

September 20, 2012.

These two energies (Uranus and Pluto) are both outer planetary ones

meaning that global or universal energies are involved, extending far beyond

London Calling

Well, moving on from the Tour de France this past weekend, Wimbledon finals

two weeks before, we are now on countdown to the Olympics!

Speaking to most of our friends who live in London, they are all planning to leave for the

coast for the next two weeks!

Anyway, we managed to get tickets to random events such as race walk,

Summer Wine

The past two weeks have had record temperatures here in Toronto

- up to 37 degrees at the beginning of this week and still holding.

One of the things I have been doing is to get out of town and by the water!

Before, I get into details of that, I would like to take the opportunity to

congratulate all those who wrote the CAAE astrology exams at the end

Big Love

Jupiter moved into the sign of Gemini on June 11, 2012.

It takes 12 years to make a complete orbit around our Sun and moves

through one sign every year. From June 11, 2012 until June 23, 2013,

it will remain in Gemini.

According to NASA, Jupiter is rivalled only by the Sun in its affect

on our solar system!

Planets of the Universe

To my mind, of all the planets in the solar system, the one whose energy is invoked to a significant degree in Stevie Nicks song, 'Planets of the Universe', is the planet Neptune.

Windmills of Your Mind

This past weekend I gave a talk on 'chart synthesis - the search for alchemical gold' at Donna Van Toen's State of the Art annual astrology conference - it was held in Niagara Falls, New York.

Circle

As the leaves prepare to turn and we now start to move our attention indoors, a quick update on what is happening this fall.

Coming Home

In September 2008, I stepped off the KLM flight into Kilimanjaro airport, Tanzania, late on a Saturday evening after two transatlantic flights, into the heavy heat of an African night and thought - I am coming home. This blog is as much to do with what happens in life and trying to put it into an astrological perspective.

Solsbury Hill

Peter Gabriel was here in Toronto this past week at the Molson Amphitheatre - the day after the Summer Solstice - a great show!

Weekly update for clients, students or anyone who simply wants to get a feel for what's going on in the cosmos right at the moment.
