Welcome, Adriana, as the newest CAAE graduate. Adriana will be in Toronto for the AGM at the end of February to receive her graduation certificate. The Spring Equinox newsletter edition will also contain more details of her achievement. 

 

MORE ABOUT THE JULY 15-17th WEEKEND WORKSHOP

This will be Christeen's 5th time to visit us from the UK. Join her on the Friday evening for her usual update on the Financial Markets. This will be followed by a weekend workshop (Saturday/Sunday) on forecasting techniques where she will be joined by Priscilla Costello and myself.

Recommended Astrology Books for Beginners

There are many astrology books out there and all astrologers or budding astrologers will have favorites of their own. The thumbed, dog-eared classics that are always the 'go to' when all else fails.

Having taught classes since 1990, I am always being asked for recommendations. There are still 4 classics which I feel should be in every astrologers toolbox.

Astronomy Weekend with Meira Epstein - May 3/4 2014

On Saturday May 3rd and Sunday May 4th, over 20 local astrologers came down to Victoria College at the University of Toronto. Their mission was to attend a weekend workshop on astronomy with visiting New York astrologer, Meira Epstein.

December 6 2013 - 4 year anniversary of first CAAE graduates

The Canadian Association of Astrological Education (CAAE) has been offering astrology classes since 1993. Students are encouraged to study for their Diploma - Dip CAAE which can take several years. There are 4 written examinations - Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Astrology plus the Mathematics of Astrology.

When I first redid my website a couple of years ago, I proudly proclaimed that I would aim to have a weekly update of the blog full of astrological and other happenings. Well, that has not quite been the case! Not that there hasn't been a lot going on - quite the reverse, too much going on sometimes to be able to process it, reflect and record it.

Astrologically, the summer of 2012 has been a bit of a tense one. Since June 24th, 2012, the planet Uranus (disruption, breakthroughs) has started to jockey in the sky with Pluto (transformation, power, control).
